Join us on Jan. 16th at 9am at the Golden Rule Lodge for a day of volunteerism as we come together to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr & celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the "I Have a Dream" speech.
All volunteers can check in beginning at 9am at the Golden Rule Lodge, located at 221 Oswald Pl. Lunch will be provided at 12noon, following a MLK ceremony celebration. Union High School volunteers will receive community service hours for this event.
Volunteers will assist with
- sorting donated food items and clothing
- cleaning garden beds at Vauxhall Community Garden
- cleaning local park (materials will be provided)
- senior wellness checks
- food drop-off at senior residences
