In recognition of the upcoming birthday of Dr. Seuss, Township of Union Mayor, Manuel Figueiredo, stopped into Battle Hill Elementary School to read "The Cat in the Hat Comes Back" to the students as part of a celebratory assembly. In addition to the reading, students from the fourth grade sang a rendition of Green Eggs and Ham, and the student body recited the school’s “Reading Pledge.” The students were then treated to a visit by The Cat in the Hat, himself, who danced along with the Mayor and his friends.
