The Mayor and Committee of the Township of Union are proud to announce that they will be celebrating National Women’s Month on March 24th with a mixer at Kava Restaurant, 1998 Morris Ave, Union at 5:30 p.m.
The 2016 National Women's History Month theme honors women who have shaped America’s history and its future through their public service and government leadership.
This event will not only allow participants to network with other community leaders, movers and shakers, but will also honor Patricia Guerra-Frazier for her public service and dedication to the youth of the Township of Union; and will also feature a performance by Diane Parker honoring the life of Fannie Lou Hamer, voting rights activist, civil rights leader, and philanthropist.
This is a free event, open to the residents of the Township of Union. In lieu of admission fees we will be collecting donations for Women for Women, a 501(c)(3) helping women all over the world.
Limited spaces are available and registration is required. Register at UnionWomensMonth.eventbrite.com. For additional information please contact Natalie Pineiro, Public Information Officer, at 908-851-5096 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
