The Mayor and Committee of the Township of Union invite children in grades K-4 to take part in the We Are Union 1st Annual Field Day. The event is set to take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 23rd at Union High School, 2350 N. 3rd St in Union.
“As temperatures get mild, we want to provide every opportunity for families to enjoy the outdoors,” said Mayor Manuel Figueiredo. “We are proud to support the Union Police Department and the entire We Are Union coalition in the execution of this wonderful event.”
The field day will feature events for children in grades K-4 from 9:00 am to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. families can enjoy music from a live DJ and patron several food trucks that will be vending on site.
This is a free event however pre-registration is required at WeAreUnionFieldDay.eventbrite.com. Check in will begin at 8:30 a.m. where all children participating will be required to fill out a waiver. During the event, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
We Are Union is an initiative of Mayor Manuel Figueriedo whose purpose is to create a greater sense of community within the Township of Union. The initiative is spearheaded by the Union Police Department and is comprised of a coalition of community leaders whose share a vision of a unified township.
