The Mayor and Committee of the Township of Union presented a Resolution last evening to the family of the late Kevin Apuzzio to commemorate the 10th anniversary of his passing. Apuzzio tragically passed away in the line of duty as a firefighter with the East Franklin Vol. Fire Department in April 2006. He was only 21 years old at the time. Apuzzio became trapped while attempting to rescue a woman from as structural fire. He was a Union resident and his family continues to reside in town.
