[ARCHIVED] Union Police Department to Host Info Session on Law Enforcement Careers

The Township of Union Police Department, The Township of Union Human Relations Commission, The New Jersey National Organization of Black Women in Law Enforcement, and The Morris County Sheriff’s Office, will hold an informational session on Careers in Law Enforcement on Thursday, August 4th at 7:00pm at the Twp. of Union Senior Center located at 968 Bonnell CT Union, NJ 07083.

“In light of the events happening all over the nation, it is important, now more than ever to seek out fresh candidates that are committed to serving their community, ” said Mayor Manuel Figueiredo.

This free session will give potential law enforcement candidates the information they need to successfully enter the field of policing.

Members of the law enforcement community will be on hand to assist young men and women in navigating through the process, and will cover topics such as: preparing for the exam, physical fitness, the importance of maintaining clean credit and criminal records.

“Law Enforcement is happy to partner with theTownship of Union Human Relations Commission and other community organizations to help attract diverse candidates for the upcoming law enforcement civil service exam,” said Township of Union Police Department’s Community Relations representative, Sergeant Michael Boll.
