Township of Union Mayor Manuel Figueiredo and Committeeman Joseph Florio were joined by Charles Mannino, Mendel Tress and other representatives from Sun Equity Partners, along with representatives from RedCom Design and Construction for the groundbreaking ceremony for “Greenleaf at Union,” a new shopping center that will be going up on the old site of Skate 22 and Monster Mini Golf. After much anticipation and speculation by residents, it was recently announced that “Greenleaf at Union” will be home to a new L.A. Fitness and Bob’s Discount Furniture, among others that will be announced in the coming months. Construction should be complete during the 2nd quarter of 2017.
