On Saturday, June 10th, 2017, the Mayor and Committee of the Township of Union, and the Union Center SID Board celebrated the Grand Opening of Norma’s Flowers in Stuyvesant Ave with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
“It’s great to welcome Norma’s Flowers into our downtown,” stated Joe Leo, SID Board President, “Flower shops are, unfortunately, a dying breed because everyone goes online but now you don’t have to. This place is beautiful and you can stop by for any of your floral needs.”
Norma’s Flowers is owned by Norma Maldonado, a Union Resident. She was joined by her son, Israel Maldonado, and her extended family and friends for the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
“I think it’s so important that we support local businesses, especially a small businesses that are family owned and operated,” Mayor Suzette Cavadas mentioned.
Norma’s Flowers, is located at 974B Stuyvesant Ave. They believe that flowers are an important part of many people’s lives and they are here to offer the best in quality and service, and look forward to a long and successful future in Union Center.
