The Mayor and Committee of the Township of Union honored Norma’s Flowers at their last Committee Meeting with the Business of the Month award, a prestigious award bestowed upon local businesses based on their quality of service and/or community partnership.

Norma’s is one of Union’s newest businesses and a welcome addition to Union Center.

“Norma’s Flowers is the epitome of what makes Union so great,” said Mayor Suzette Cavadas. “They offer mom and pop service with quality products that have captured the attention of residents and S.I.D. shoppers.”

Located at 974B Stuyvesant Ave, Norma’s Flowers opened two months ago.

Owned by Norma and Israel Maldonado, they are a local flower shop that is family run and owned. At their shop, customers receive high quality service, flowers, arrangements, plants, and gifts.

They help their clients receive the best flower designs for weddings, sweet 16's, funerals, proms, birthdays, anniversaries, and other important events.

They invite members of the public to visit their shop, or catch them on Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Union Farmers’ Market located in the parking lot in front of Town Hall, 1976 Morris Ave.
