The Mayor and Committee of the Township of Union honored The Pink Room, a retail store specializing in compression garments, at the August committee meeting with the Business of the Month Award.

"Their commitment to bringing style, variety and quality to their customers has proven them to be the perfect candidate for this month’s Business of the Month award," said Mayor Cavadas at the Township meeting.

The distinguished award is presented to local businesses that present quality service and/or community partnership within the Township of Union.

The Pink Room has been located in Union at 1994 Morris Ave. for over two years and has another location in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

Owned by Maria Sparacio, the shape wear company has made it their primary mission to help women and men find their right body wears that will fit their own individual needs.

The Pink Room is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
