Committeeman Manny Figueiredo will close out this year’s Jazz Thursdays at the Union Farmers Market series with a check presentation to William Paterson University Foundation for $1,000 dollars earmarked for a Union High School music student who would like to attend William Paterson University. This music series was offered free to the public this summer by the Union Center Special Improvement District and sponsor in-part by PSEG and the Township's Farmers Grant.
The Jazz Thursdays at the Union Farmers Market featured some of the most talented Jazz artists in New Jersey who attended the William Paterson Jazz program, and along with Union very own local talent. The 953 Music Group a talented group of young jazz students from Union High School and VMusic, a group of accomplished musician who has shared the stage with well-known artist like Alycia Keys, Vivian Green and Cissy Houston, just to name a few.
