Joseph Florio, Deputy Mayor of the Township of Union joined Phyllis Monguso, Director of the Township of Union Senior Center in taking receipt of their new 15-passenger bus yesterday. The 3rd in recent memory to be paid for by NJ Transit, the bus is the latest accomplishment in the Senior Center’s aggressive pursuit of grant opportunities to expand and enhance their services. The bus will be utilized to help transport senior citizens to doctors’ appointments, and to take them to run errands and go on trips.
