Kicking off the Holiday shopping season on Saturday, November 25th in Union Center with Shop Local Shop Small campaign, along with Shop Small Business Saturday. There will be a series of ribbon cuttings as they continue to welcome new merchants of Phase I of the newly finished Stuyvesant Ave Streetscape.

The Special Improvement District (SID) will host a welcoming station, located at 1000A Stuyvesant Ave, will be the main hub of activity where residents will receive Shop Local Shop Union Center goodie bags. For more information on the upcoming Union Center Holiday events and more information on how you can join the Union VIP program. The first 50 people will receive a sweet treat along with some merchant discounts for the day.

“This celebration offers residents and visitors an opportunity to learn more about the diverse businesses in town,” says Union Center SID President Joe Leo. “The benefits of shopping small are pretty big, and it not only extends to the business owners but to our community as well.” “Stop by your favorite restaurant or business on Saturday and make the extra effort to revisit recommit and reinvest in Union Center throughout this Holiday season where your money works for the community for years to come,” adds Fatimah Raymond, Director of Union Center SID & Economic Development Director for Union Township.
