[ARCHIVED] 2nd annual Recreation Department Open House this Friday!

Please mark your calendars for the 2nd annual Recreation Department Open House on Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Hannah Caldwell School gym from 6:00-9:00 pm. The Open House offers residents a one-stop-shop for everything that the Recreation Department has to offer this spring and summer. It will give residents an opportunity to plan their summer of adventure by interacting, learning, or registering for a variety of summer camps, programs, and activities offered in our community.

The Recreation Open House is a FREE event that includes organizations serving students of all abilities and ages. Representatives will be present at this year’s event to answer any questions you may have regarding their programs or organizations. We are     asking residents to make every effort to attend the Open House for an evening of information, fun, refreshments, giveaways,  and door prizes.

Guest representatives in attendance at the event will be from US Sports Institute, the Girls  Field Hockey Clinic, and Youth Flag Rugby. In addition to our guest representatives, we will also have the following community youth sports organizations; Union Little League, Union Soccer League, suffragettes girls softball and Union Rams Football to share information about their programs. Once again, the Recreation Department will be offering an exciting schedule of events that include our traditional 4th of July celebration, Soap Box Derby, Movies Under the Stars, Shakespeare in the park and July Summer Concert Series.

For more information call the Recreation Office at 908.686.4200.
