[ARCHIVED] Union Center continues to grow and welcome new businesses!

Union Center continues to grow and welcome new businesses with open arms. Sakura Union and DAVA Latin Fusion are the latest merchants to locate to Stuyvesant Ave.

"The Township of Union’s Special Improvement District is working closely with its property owners to actively recruit stores and restaurants that want to grow with us in Union Center," said Fatimah Raymond, Director of Economic Development and the Special Improvement District.

Sakura Union restaurant, which opened recently at 1030 Stuyvesant Ave., uses fresh ingredients to offer the community a modern interpretation of classic Japanese dishes. Delicious dining and takeout are available, with the option to conveniently order online. The menu includes a wide variety of soups, sushi rolls and hibachi.

DAVA Latin Fusion, at 1020 Stuyvesant Ave, a new restaurant to meet all your Latin cuisine needs, owned by local resident Catilia Narvez promises an authentic tropical Caribbean experience with amazing food, music and ambiance. DAVA is due to open its doors late July.

"These two additions add flavorful cuisines and enhance the vibrancy that encourages residents to revisit recommit and reinvest in our local economy," Raymond said.
