The Township Committee and members of Diversified Realty Advisors (DRA) gathered on June 26 for a ribbon cutting ceremony at Summit Court, a new state-of-the-art rental community in close proximity the Union train station.

"By way of Summit Court, DRA continues to further our vision of a solid investment in the quality of life of our residents, allowing them to enjoy a luxurious living experience, allowing us to thrive economically, and strengthening our community," Mayor Cavadas said.

According to the Mayor, the arrival of DRA and Summit Court singlehandedly transformed an area that was previously left in a state of abandonment after the National Envelope Factory shut their doors in the late 90’s.

“The site was contaminated and left in a state of disrepair,” Cavadas said. “What DRA has done here is remarkable.”

After remediation of the property and several months of construction, Summit Court now consists of 130 spacious one- and two-bedroom residences with all the amenities of a home including a modern living space with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, in-home washers and dryers, private patio or balcony and keyless entry. Residents can also enjoy a world-class fitness facility and eventually, a resort-style pool.

"DRA has far exceeded our expectations by not only ensuring state-of-the-art living for our residents, but by providing a community partnership that we are certain will continue to thrive for years to come," Mayor Cavadas continued at the ribbon cutting.

Summit Court, located at 450 Clermont Terrace, is now accepting leases. To learn more about the rental community, visit www.SummitCourtUnion.com or call 908-363-1000.
