[ARCHIVED] Free Birthday Celebration in the Center to offer a "Fun Shopping experience"

Baker

Adrienne Baker, owner of Repeats are Neat consignment boutique, is inviting residents of the Township of Union to join her at her birthday celebration Saturday, July 21, at her boutique, 958A Stuyvesant Ave., from 1 to 5 p.m. A resident of Union herself, Baker decided to host a free birthday celebration to offer a "fun shopping experience" and something "different" to the community. Complimentary cocktails and cupcakes will be provided with entertainment by DJ Jammin Joe.

"Most people just shop until they drop, but at Repeats Are Neat we dance and shop until we drop," Baker said. "Your appearance would make my birthday extra special."
Baker, a graduate of Delaware State University with a degree in Business Administration, has always had a passion for fashion. After working in the financial services field and as an independent art consultant for a few years, she came across the consignment and resale industry shortly after she had her son. She stumbled upon a consignment shop and began consigning a lot of her son's unworn and gently used clothing. It wasn't until she joined the National Association of Resale & Thrift Stores, that she was sure this is what she wants to pursue.
