The Mayor and the Committee Township of Union would like to invite its residents to celebrate Halloween with their Spooktacular Weekend. The event-filled weekend will take place from Friday, October 26th until Sunday, October 28th.
“We are excited to be able to provide a Halloween weekend that will be filled with events for the whole family,” said Suzette Cavadas, Mayor. “We’ll be bringing back some of our favorite events, like the ‘Trunk or Treat’ and adding some fun new activities, like our Halloween Movie under the Stars”
The Spooktacular Weekend is set to include:
- Halloween Movie under the stars: Hocus Pocus taking place on Friday, October 16th from 6:00pm-8:45pm at Union Senior Center Union, NJ. Pre-movie activities will begin and 6:00pm and the movie screening will begin at 7:00 p.m.
- Big Superhero Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 27th
- CANCELLED
- The Annual Halloween Parade and Costume Contest will be held on Sunday, October 28th from 1:30-3:00pm beginning on Axton Ave. Families and children will march to Connecticut Farms School where the Costume Contest will be held.
Families and children are encouraged to attend all events in costumes. In the event of rain, the Halloween Parade will be cancelled and the contest will be held promptly at 2:00 p.m. at Connecticut Farms School.
