On Wednesday, February 13, the Township of Union embarked on its initial stages of Titan Union, a mixed-use development project in the Center. Mayor, Michele Delisfort, along with the Township Committee and Titan Engineers PC, were in attendance to watch the start in this long awaited project.
“The expansion of this existing building demonstrates our dedication to the revitalizing of our center, incorporates uses that are not only esthetically pleasing, but benefits existing and future patrons and residents of the township and also maintains our commitment to encouraging sustainable development projects throughout Union,” said Township of Union Mayor, Michele Delisfort.
The new development by, Titan Engineers PC, incorporates and preserves the historic Union Center National Bank thru adaptive reuse. The development will consist of a three-story addition above the existing renovated office and retail space along with new co-working offices, 43 residential units and a community/event center.
“Titan Union, will be a place where we can live, work and create. A place to innovate, a place to inspire, a place to serve and bolster our community, but most importantly, it represents the history of this bank and how we hold traditions and brining those traditional values to modern day,” Said Nicholas Wong, Managing Principle and President of Titan Engineers.
Titan Union is set to open its doors Spring of 2020.
