[ARCHIVED] Union welcomes Savalis Cafe to Morris Ave.

On Monday, April 1st, the Township of Union welcomed Savalis Café, located at 2179 Morris Ave. Union, NJ at their grand opening with a celebratory ribbon cutting.

Savalis Café is a new café in town offers a delicious variety of panini sandwiches, sweet and savory crepes, wraps, pastries as well as freshly made coffee, a juice bar and smoothies.

“It has taken a lot of hard work, but my staff and I wanted to make sure that we provide the best quality service and the best tasting foods possible to the residents of Union, and neighboring towns,” said, Dr. Ali Riba, owner. “I’m excited that our opening has brought out residents wanting to catch a glimpse of everything we have to offer.”

Making a statement with their bold yet charming red door, it will be hard for residents to miss the café.

“Everything from the look of the cafe, to the great tasting food, and friendly staff, was an amazing experience. I wish nothing but the best for this great establishment. The Township is definitely lucky to have this café,” said Deputy Mayor Joe Florio.
