Spring has sprung in the Township of Union, and the Center is celebrating with their 2nd Annual Spring Eggstravaganza, which will be taking place on April 13th and April 20th, 2019. The Eggstravagazna will consist of a scavenger hunt in the Center, Photos with the Easter Bunny and an Easter Paint and Sip.
“Our goal for this Spring Eggstravaganza is to have families come out to celebrate and enjoy a day of fun. Residents will have the opportunity to walk through our Center and discover all the hidden gems that we have right here in town. Last year, we celebrated the first Eggstravaganza and it was a huge hit, we had a packed house and this year we hope to do the same,” said Fatimah Raymond, Union Center SID Director.
The Eggstravagazna will be kicked off with a Scavenger hunt on April 13th from 12:00-3:00PM. Participants will be able to collect clues by visiting participating merchants, such as, Norma’s Flowers, DAVA Latin Fusion Restaurant, El Chingon Tex-Mex Restaurant, Blue Ribbon Bakery, and The Gym for Kids. First, participants must visit our Welcome Station, located at 958A Stuyvesant Ave. Union, NJ, where the first clue and goodie bags will be given.
Photos with the Easter Bunny will be held on April 13th, from 12:00-4:00 PM and on April 20th, from 12:00-3:00 PM at Here’s the Story Book Store located at 1043 Stuyvesant Ave, Union, NJ. The 4 by 6 photos will be available for purchase immediately after for $5 each. Reservations are not required.
The Paint and Sip Easter Pop up will be held on April 20th, from 12:00-2:00 PM and 2:00-4:00 PM, at The Gym for Kids located at 973 Stuyvesant Ave, Union, NJ. Children ages 4-12 are welcomed to participate. Each session is $11 per child and space is limited to 20 children per session. Apple and orange juice, paint supplies and aprons will be provided. Registration is currently open online at UnioncenterSID.com. Participating children will receive from The Gym for Kids, either a free annual membership fee for new members ($35 value) or $20.00 off one week of summer camp.
