This program began in 1995, is dedicated to beautifying and maintaining the cleanliness of the township. The cleanup will be taking place on Saturday, May 18th at the Department of Public Works, 1 Swanstrom Pl. East, Union, NJ.
As the weather starts to break, the Township of Union is pleased to announce that they will be bringing back their Annual “Operation Clean Sweep” program. This program began in 1995, is dedicated to beautifying and maintaining the cleanliness of the township. The cleanup will be taking place on Saturday, May 18th at the Department of Public Works, 1 Swanstrom Pl. East, Union, NJ.

The event schedule is as follows:
• 8:30 A.M - check-in at the Department of Public Works
• 9:00 A.M - 12:00 P.M- Operation Clean Sweep will be taking place
• 12:00 P.M - A picnic for all participants will be held following the cleanup at Rabkin Park Family Cove. There will be free face painting and a DJ.
After checking in at the Department of Public Works and obtaining your “Operation Clean Sweep” t-shirt, participants will be dispatched to different parks throughout town, identified by the department to clean the Township of littler and debris.
