Since 2016, BCB Community Bank has been providing the Township of Union with exceptional financial services, while maintaining their vision of being a community bank.
BCB Community Bank opened its first branch in Bayonne, New Jersey in 2000. The bank is the brainchild of President and CEO Thomas Coughlin, who felt that there was a need for a true community bank. Within two years, the second branch was established and since then, BCB Bank has opened up 29 branches, in 9 counties and two states with no plans on slowing down.
As part of BCB's plan to organically increase their footprint across New Jersey and New York, when the opportunity came up to establish a branch in Union, they saw it was a perfect fit to develop their business here and establish a relationship within the growing community. On November 28, 2016, BCB proudly opened up their Union branch on 2000 Morris Ave.
Community is vital to BCB Bank, with their Mission Statement to "Pay it forward," they pride themselves in giving back to the community and supporting various programs and organizations throughout town. They proudly support the Union Township Economic Advisory, the Union Township Chamber of Commerce, and the Boys and Girls Club of Union to name a few.
We are proud to have them in town and look forward to their growth and longevity.
