This weekend, Township of Union residents will be able to beat the heat at their newly announced cooling station as excessive heat warnings remain in effect in Union County until 8pm on Sunday, July 21st. Heat index values will be around 100 F to the high 120s, according to the National Weather Service forecasts.
Due to the expected high temperatures, the Township of Union has organized a cooling station at the Union Senior Center, located at 968 Bonnel Court, from Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21st from 10 A.M. to 7 P.M.
